An explosive right back, who relishes and excels in 1 vs 1 defensive scenarios, strong in the tackle and agile enough to constantly pivot his back foot when the attacker is running with the ball and changes direction. In the attacking phase of play, Dan is a player who has an excellent cross and can act as a wide deep-lying playmaker. His speed and skill mean he can attack the opposite fullback directly, forming a 2 vs 1 overload to his team’s advantage. Dan’s ability to cut in on his left foot also makes him unpredictable and means he is often able to break lines and take players out of the game to create more space for himself and his teammates. Dan also has an incredibly long throw, enabling his team to create goal-scoring opportunities from otherwise unthreatening scenarios.
