I also have a FA National Futsal qualification and have previously coached for Charlton Athletic FC and in the USA. (Noga Soccer) Jamie has played football for approximately 10yrs at Farncombe Youth FC and has also been part of our successful Futsal team. His age group have consistently competed at the top level of the regional league and were recently challenged to play up an age group where they continued to be successful winning cup competitions and fighting for league titles. Jamie is a hugely talented left sided player, although Jamie is definitely not solely one footed. Jamie is often played in Left midfield but he is tactically intelligent enough to rotate within the game to utilise his talents effectively and benefit the team. Jamie is a strong & skilful dribbler of the ball, his raw pace and burst of acceleration are amongst his key attributes. Jamie has a powerful shot with both feet and is consistently one of the team’s leading goal scorers. He has outstanding delivery of set pieces and is able to skilfully control his power to serve and dip the ball. He is a tough competitor with a strong desire to win the ball and compete in a physical challenge. In both training and matches Jamie has a real work ethic and desire to improve, he enjoys challenging himself and naturally pushes his team mates to keep standards high. Jamie is an absolute pleasure to coach, he is enthusiastic and eager to learn. Beyond football Jamie is a wonderful young man and talented sportsman. He is polite with an easy going nature. He is a natural leader respected by both his teammates & coaches. I am aware Jamie wishes to further his education and sporting development within the US College system and I believe he would be an outstanding candidate for this environment.
