An agile, quick and strong player. who can play inverted and overlapping or even switch it up throughout a 90 minute match. His overlapping runs are critical and threatening to the opposition as he can arch his run’s in towards the centre of the pitch when getting in behind the defender and receive the ball ready to either deliver into the box, dribble or make the next necessary, smart decision. Jiyan is strong on the ball and can use his body to manipulate the opposing player who may be attacking away from a position which may be threatening towards my team. A leader, Captaining his current college team with 2 assists in 2 games. Defensively, his strong suits are 50/50 challenges, standing tackles, slide tackles and anticipating the attackers next move or pass. Jiyan reads the game well and has good vision. A low tendency of giving away fouls to the opposition as his challenges are made with a-lot of concentration, skill, and practice.
