Chatham Town F.C
LEFT BACK
A quick left-back who is capable in the game's attacking and defensive phases. In the attack a great crosser of the ball from either deep or cut back situations. This also includes an exceptional passing range with various techniques. Aside from passing he excels in defensive situations, whether it is reading the game or 1v1 defending where he can utilise his strength and speed. Versatility is another key feature previously also being deployed as a left centre back in a 5-2-3 and as a right back. He is comfortable on his right foot and in defensive situations good in build-up play and driving forward with the ball.

“I coached Kieran for a year as he began playing men’s football in the English non-league system. He was one of the youngster players in the squad; however, slotted in comfortably and was a mainstay in our defence which saw us near the top of the league by Christmas and into a semi final of a cup. He trained well, is dedicated to improving technically and also looks after himself in terms of fitness and nutrition. His form earnt him a move to a side 2 leagues higher after Christmas; however a managerial change at his new club meant he returned to me for the remainder of the season where we achieved the clubs highest ever league finish. He’s a good lad, brilliant to work with and has a great attitude. On that basis, I bought him into my new side the following season, which was 3 leagues higher than he played the year before. Unfortunately, a serious injury curtailed his season early. In that time he has dedicated himself to developing physically to improve his strength to compete in the men’s game.”
“Kieran has played for my team for several years. His commitment to the team has been first class. From training to matches Kieran is totally committed to listening and to learn. He has always been prepared to take on different roles if required within the team, which has really developed him as an all around player and excelling at each role. A very physically strong player with a great vision and determination in a game situation. I truly believe Kieran would be a major asset to any football club.”
