centre midfield

An agile quick mid-fielder who is brave and carries and dribbles forward successfully with her close control. Utilising her quick feet and decision making ability she is able to find a pass with her exceptional vision and can swing a pin-point cross into the box at any time. She is a positive play-maker who both enjoys attacking and defending and her versatility to also play as a full back can be extremely useful within a team.

Maddie is a very driven and dedicated individual. It’s been a pleasure working with Maddie this season as she has fantastic football abilities but also a great hunger to constantly learn and improve her own individual qualities. Throughout her time with us Maddie has showcased her brilliant leadership skills by taking the time to help others within our squad but also by being a role model in the way she conducts herself on a day to day basis. Maddie is an important figure in our team as she is a very creative player who likes to be on the ball as often as she can, and has the bravery to take the ball in pressured situations and create opportunities for the team with her excellent passing abilities and football intelligence. I believe that Maddie would be a huge addition and asset for any further educational program and wish her every success in the future.
— Liam Ballard - Chelsea Education program football coach
I’ve been privileged enough to work with Maddie for the past two seasons, in which she has quickly established herself as one of the leading playing players, within her vastly talented, Junior Premier League side & Women’s 1st team side. Maddie continually displays high levels of intelligence and is a natural leader. Furthermore, I would describe Maddie as a; keen learner, resilient, athletic, adaptable and possesses great technical ability. Notably, within her first season at Epsom & Ewell Girls (playing in the Junior Premier League & Women’s 1st Team Football), Maddie was also able juggle such commitments alongside representing her (Surrey) County side. Which University is lucky enough to land Maddie, they (along with her prospective teammates) have gained a very talented player, along with an even better person. I have no doubt Maddie will prove to be an invaluable asset to her university and has a very bright future within the Women’s game.
