We are excited to announce that Soccer Assist client Jamie Reid has secured a place and committed to Jefferson College on a top scholarship. The London lad, formerly of Reading F.C., will be joining the Vikings’ soccer roster this fall.
Jamie has had a flair for the creative from a young age. The midfielder is always looking for quick one-twos with his teammates, and his talent for this is what led Soccer Assist to bring him on. His time at Reading F.C. was successful and now he is looking forward to bigger and brighter opportunities during his time in America. When discussing his playing style, Jamie is best described as a creative midfielder.
The Vikings’ head coach, Brocklon Chatman, is thrilled to have Jamie on board and is excited for him to start playing in the NJCAA Division 1. Brocklon told Soccer Assist that Jamie is a quality player and he should fit in well with the team. Jamie is heading to Missouri this August to start his scholarship journey. Jamie attended our Trial Day in Milton Keynes last April and, through our help, is now deserving of this scholarship. Soccer Assist Director Junior stated that he is “confident he will have a successful college career. His personality and qualities will get him far.” We would like to wish Jamie all the best during his time at Jefferson College and we look forward to seeing what he achieve next.
